The project involves the construction of timber roofs for a residential complex of six townhouses in the province of Cuneo. Currently, the first three roofs have been completed, while work is ongoing on the remaining three units, which will complete the entire project.

Preliminary Checks and Surveys

Execution precision was ensured from the very beginning of the site through two essential surveys:

• First survey conducted after the foundation slab was completed, verifying the exact positioning of the reinforcement bars.
• Second survey performed on the columns to ensure they were built according to the design before producing the timber structures.

These steps enabled a fast, precise, and trouble-free installation.

Materials and Construction Solutions

The roofs are built with a main structure of impregnated laminated timber, a solution that ensures high mechanical strength, long-term stability, and protection against external agents.

The structure is completed with a planed impregnated spruce boarding, left exposed, chosen to combine functionality with natural aesthetics.
A key aspect of the project is that all timber elements are impregnated, including those not visible, ensuring greater durability of the entire roof system and long-term protection.

Construction Timeline

One of the standout features of this project is the extremely short construction time: from the installation of the first beam to the completion of the roof covering, the first three roofs were completed in just 14 days.
